It's halibut heaven at 1500 Ocean, upscale ocean-front restaurant at The Hotel Del Coronado, new home of Chef Robert Hohmann, who will debut his menu October 1, 2012. A bit of background: Chef Hohmann's worked with such celebrated chefs as Jonathan Benno, Mario Batali, Jaques Pepin and Thomas Keller. All I can say is that my Alaskan Halibut tasted like butter.
